BIFA (British International Freight Association) is the main body representing the international freight services industry in the United Kingdom. BIFA elected ASM to become the Trade Industry Representative for the Air Freight Community on all IT-related matters. BIFA has established various Policy Groups (PG) which meet on a bi-monthly basis. Each Policy Group focuses on a specific area of freight. ASM has representatives at two of these groups, namely PG1 pertaining to Air Freight and PG5 pertaining to Customs. These meetings are attended by a BIFA Representative, members of the Freight Forwarding and Airline communities, as well as an ASM Representative. http://www.bifa.org/
