Formed in 1986 as a representative body for the air freight industry, ASM has evolved in line with the needs of our users. By 1994 with the introduction of CHIEF we had commissioned our first system ASM2000, developed by Syntegra. During 1997 all software development moved in-house and as the millennium approached ASM2000NT was launched.

In 2002 GeMS (Global eCargo Management System) was pioneered to incorporate all aspects of the freight industry in a single solution.

Today, as well as continuing to fulfil our vital lobbying role, there are many more facets to our work, including offering a wide range of products and services specifically focused on information and technology.
