GeMS Release 11.1 is now available.

ASM GEMS DELIVERS SAD H FUNCTIONALITY

ASM is pleased to announce the release of GeMS Version 11.1 providing users with full compliance for SAD Harmonisation. SAD H implementation will commence on 1st October 2007 and HMRC will allow dual running of both old and new type Customs declarations until midnight on the 20th January 2008. GeMS version 11.1 includes data from all three volumes of the HM Customs Tariff and will allow you to complete SAD H or non SAD H declarations on a per entry basis until the end of the dual running period when old declarations will no longer be permitted.

To minimise disruption and ensure that adequate assistance is available to everyone, you will be required to pre-book installation assistance with the ASM helpdesk before attempting the upgrade. Installation assistance will be available from 6am to 8pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 6pm Saturdays and Sundays. Please email admin@asm.org.uk to book your slot. Bookings will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

ASM will be holding SAD H training seminars throughout the dual running period, for those who have upgraded to GeMS version 11.1. Details of these events will be published next week via the ASM Infoline.
