Business Analyst

ASM is looking for a Business Analyst to join our tech team on a permanent basis.

We require a highly motivated fast learner, with excellent communication skills and the ability to convey information clearly and concisely to colleagues and users.

A good knowledge of international freight forwarding is essential to this role. Familiarity with forwarding/customs software would also be an advantage but is not critical.

You will be responsible for producing information about current and future products and services, and how they work, in a way that is easy to understand. The information may be presented in the form of user requirements, software user guides, training guides and instructional videos.

You'll need to understand our software then design and write documentation to explain it to colleagues and users. Previous experience is not essential, but the ability and enthusiasm to document complex technical subjects are. You may also provide this information in various other forms including software demos, wikis, blogs and podcasts, using video, illustrations and graphics.

You must work well in a team environment and also be able to work on your own initiative with minimal supervision.  An ASM colleague will be imaginative, loyal, committed, hardworking and passionate about everything they do, looking to continually improve themselves, ASM and the overall customer experience.

At the moment, you will work from home. Post-Covid, and in line with government guidance, the role will be based in Ashford Middlesex. You must therefore be UK-based and already have the right to work in the UK.
