CDS Release 4.8.0 - Updated Important information for traders
CDS Release 4.8.0 is currently scheduled for delivery on 14th June 2025.
Following feedback from stakeholders, an additional table has been added to the guidance.
This table shows CDS technical fixes that are being deployed as part of CDS Release 4.8.0. These fixes will not affect how declarations are to be made; these have been included in the guidance for visibility.
Item numbers have been added to the document for ease of identifying changes. Some corrections have also been applied. The incorrect APC 0752 in item 18 has been corrected to 0771, and references to Data Element 2/2 have been corrected to DE 2/3 in Item 22.
The attached document contains updates on how the changes will affect completing a declaration. The GOV.UK Declaration Completion Instructions and Appendices will be updated ASAP after Release 4.8.0 has gone live.
