Update to the Customs Declaration Service (CDS) import and export reports service

Dear Customer, 

We are contacting you to update you on the progress of the free to use self-service Get Customs Declaration Data for Imports and Exports - the replacement for MSS reports. 

Private Beta update 

Private Beta started week commencing 28 August 2025 and has made good progress, key findings so far are concerns around missing XI EORI data, searching on multiple EORIs and data formatting. These concerns have been addressed, and we will provide you with further updates in due course. 

What is changing? 

Private Beta is now approaching completion. To ensure that all Private Beta feedback has been actioned, we now plan to open the service to all users as part of the Public Beta from the week commencing 10 November 2025.

Public Beta general access 

Access to the Public Beta service will be available via GOV.UK. The link will be provided closer to the go-live date.
